Radar Life Detector

Introduction

The Radar Life Detector utilizes ultra-wideband radar technology. It employs nanosecond electromagnetic pulses to capture the weak Doppler echoes caused by human vital signs, such as chest expansion/contraction from heartbeat and breathing, as well as limb movements. By integrating radar signal processing algorithms like weak signal detection, it enables rapid wide-area detection, search, and localization of survivors trapped under rubble, collapsed structures, or behind obstacles – whether they exhibit slight movements or remain fully static. The device determines the vital status and precise location of trapped individuals, facilitating targeted rescue operations. Key advantages include lightweight portability, strong penetration through complex media like rubble, and real-time multi-target detection, making it widely applicable in emergency rescue missions for armed police, firefighting, earthquake response, and other specialized fields.
